Cathie Orfali

Cathie is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Telfer School of Management and Algonquin College, overseeing the full-service financial planning company Money Advisors Inc. She strongly believes in serving her clients by empowering you with the financial planning tools to build and manage wealth and create your lasting legacy.

Cathie has worked as a financial advisor since 1997 and from 2006 to present as President of Money Advisors. Cathie enjoys her work as managing member of the Orfali Group LLC, a real estate investment company in the United States.

A few of Cathie’s hobbies include travel, taking courses and jogging. She is very passionate about fundraising and loves to volunteer with the homeless and poor in Ottawa, Egypt and Guatemala. Cathie is blessed to be married to Paul, her husband and they have three grown children, Laura, Caroline and Justin.

Cathie is a Founding Member of the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation of Canada. She is also a Certified Global Priority Solutions Specialist — an organization that is a world leader implementing the message of value-based leadership and developing value-driver leaders.

Nicolas Dieugrand

Nicolas Dieugrand is a financial advisor licensed by the AMF of Québec and the FSCO of Ontario. He’s been in customer service since 1997 and has learned the importance of customer satisfaction. Thus meshing a solid financial background with the utmost customer care. He is trillingual speaking English, French and Haitian Creole.

Financial Security Advisor

Kyle Wilson

Kyle Wilson is the newest member of the Money Advisors family and is one of our financial security advisors. He has a background in software development and made the switch to finances in 2020. He is currently also studying for his mortgage agent licence in order to offer mortgage services to clients of Money Advisors. Kyle is truly looking forward to helping all clients, new and old, grow with the Money Advisors family.

Adrian Frei

Adrian is experienced financial services professional with extensive background in credit, underwriting, insurance, investments, taxation and business development. He is Certified Financial Planner®, mutual fund and life licensed, mortgage agent certified. Adrian holds a degree in journalism and maintain the following designations: Licensed Life and Health Insurance Advisor, Investment Fund Advisor, Registered Retirement Consultant, FPSC Level 1 Certificant in Financial Planning.

Mortgage Agent

Marva Brathwaite

Marva has been working as a professional mortgage agent since 2017. During this time she has given financial advice to many new home buyers and those looking to refinance their homes. Marva has worked in finance for the last 10 years and enjoy working as a tax preparer for Money Advisors. She loves working with people and volunteering in Children's ministries and the evangelical team at the Ottawa Church of God. She has also devoted much of my time and efforts to the Samaritan Support Services of Ottawa Carleton and is very passionate about serving the people in our local community.

Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

Laura Orfali

Laura Orfali has been a bookkeeper and administrative assistant for the last 2 years. She is an adept organizer and excels in customer relations. She is also the eldest daughter of Paul and Cathie Orfali and has inherited their hard working and caring characteristics. Having watched her parents run a business for most of her life, Laura has learned the essential skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur. She has been apart of Hope of Life International, a humanitarian aid foundation based in Guatemala, for the last 5 years.
